It's going to be Out of This World!

Experience the Quiet Resorts as you never have before at the Annual Fire & Ice Festival! New this year, the festival will expand outside of Bethany Beach, stretching down Route 26 to Millville! Experience large, interactive sculptures in Bethany Beach, Ocean View, and Millville; as well as a tour of smaller, intricate sculptures in each town. The weekend will be full of family-friendly activities, including a live sculpture demonstration, beach bonfires, and, of course, a seasonal stop at your favorite shops, restaurants, and businesses. This is a rain or shine event!

The 2020 Fire & Ice Festival will have an "Out of This World" theme. Expect UFO's, rocket ships, aliens, shooting stars, galaxies, and more, all built by ice sculptors, Ice Lab. For a complete schedule of events, visit FireandIceDE.com.

Ice Facts
How do the sculptures last all weekend, you ask? Well, many of the smaller sculptures will be covered during the day because sunlight is the enemy of the ice sculptures! It penetrates the sculpture, warming it all the way through. But not to worry - the sculptures will be unveiled when the sun sets, illuminated with colored lights for the sculpture tour each evening! Fire & Ice Drink Tasting Tour
Be sure to join us for the Fire & Ice Drink Tasting Tour throughout Fire & Ice weekend. Online ticket sales will be available until January 22 and will include a drink tasting at all participating restaurants for $20. All ticket sales benefit Nemours duPont Pediatrics & SeniorCare, Sussex Campus.
