A late registration period will be available (pending space) from January 19th-February 10th ($50 fee).\n\n\n\nThe purpose of the Job Fair is to connect the business community to an available workforce in both the school and community at-large creating relationships and opportunities for all present.\n\n\n\nParticipating Businesses are responsible for:\n\n Set-up\, tear down and staffing their booth. Booth must be tended to at all times during the event. If member is conducting on-site interviews\, a second employee is required to be present to tend to the booth.\n Provide recruiting materials\, brochures\, giveaways and employment applications\n Set-up will be from 5pm to 5:45pm. No exceptions\n If conducting on site interviews\, must allow for pre-registration of interview slots\n All participants are requested to bring a small door prize that will be available to all visitors\n\n \n\nIndian River High School is responsible for:\n\n\n Student Scheduling and Communication\n Providing space\, table\, and 2 chairs\n\n \n\nFor businesses interested in providing co-op or job shadowing opportunities to students\, please find below those program requirements.\n\n\n\nIndian River High School Cooperative Education Requirements\n\n\n Students must have a job that coincides with their pathway\n Co-op is only available to seniors.\n Must work a minimum of 15 hours per week\n Students must have earned at least 19 credits towards graduation by the end of their junior year.\n Student must turn in a weekly timecard signed by their employer verifying hours worked\n Employers must complete two evaluations (provided by the program) per marking period on employee\n Co-op coordinator must make a site visit at least once per marking period\n Student must pass all courses to remain eligible for co-op\n If student is terminated\, student may be removed from the co-op program\n\n \n\nJob Shadowing Program the purpose of this program is to provide students the opportunity to gain more knowledge/experience in their field of interest.
