The \;46th Annual Bethany Beach Boardwalk Arts Festival in downtown Bethany Beach will be held on September 7\, 2024 from 10 am - 5 pm. The popular one-day show features jewelry\, glass\, pottery\, watercolor and oil paintings\, photography\, woodworking\, and much more! Over 100 juried artists\, both local and from around the country\, will display their work along the bandstand\, boardwalk\, and streets of downtown Bethany Beach. For over 45 years\, festival-goers have savored the end of summer at the annual event\, proving there is not a more beautiful backdrop for unique works of art. \nSilent Auction
\nThe annual event \;serves as a fundraiser for the arts programs at \;five local schools. The silent auction is comprised of pieces donated by participating artists\, and is hosted on the Bethany Beach Bandstand from 10 am - 2 pm. The schools which benefit from the silent auction are Lord Baltimore Elementary School\, Southern Delaware School of the Arts\, John M. Clayton Elementary School\, Phillip C. Showell Elementary School and Selbyville Middle School.\n\n

Additional overflow parking will be available from 10am-2pm at St. Ann'\;s Parish located at 691 Garfield Parkway\, Bethany Beach and 10am-5pm at \;Lord Baltimore Elementary School located at 120 Atlantic Avenue\, Ocean View with shuttle services to and from the festival.

Inclement Weather
\nIn the event that inclement weather is forecasted that poses a threat to public safety\, the festival has a rain date scheduled for Sunday\, September 8\, 2024. All announcements regarding the show date will be made on this website.\n\n
\nRain Date / Cancellation Policy
\nThe Bethany-Fenwick Area Chamber of Commerce will notify all artists no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday\, September 6. Artists will be notified via email. The Chamber will post all announcements regarding the Bethany Beach Boardwalk Arts Festival homepage \;and on social media. Artists who cannot attend the rain date will not be issued refunds.
\nIf the Bethany Beach Boardwalk Arts Festival is postponed to the rain date of Sunday\, September 8th:

\n - The show hours will remain the same\, 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
\n - Set up and check in will still follow the Saturday schedule (schedule noted on previous page)
\n - Artists must be present at the show. No stand-ins or artist&rsquo\;s representatives are \;permitted.
\n
\n\n
If the event is cancelled completely by the Bethany-Fenwick Area Chamber of Commerce for any reason all participating artists will be issued a 100% refund of their booth fee or the option to defer their booth payment to the 2025 \;show. Artists will not be reimbursed for any other incurred expenses (e.g. accommodations\, travel expenses\, tent rentals\, advertising\, etc.
