For \;the \;past 9 years\, \;Bryan \;Scar has been making a name for himself as an Americana solo artist &ndash\; performing in venues from \;the \;coastal waters of Delaware to \;the \;Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. He draws influences from John Denver\, Jim Croce &\; Johnny Cash to form his own sound. Accolades include multiple appearances on local radio/tv stations\, 4 albums with a 5th \;on the way\, an endorsement from Teton Guitars in 2018 &\; in 2021\, he won Delaware Today'\;s \;"\;Best Local Artist - Down State"\;!
\n\nSince 2018\, he'\;s started a group with local musicians John Heinz \;and \;Phinex Diego to form an Americana trio. The idea was to bring more energy to his solo sets with a fuller "\;Americana"\; sound! That sound includes Bryan \;on vocals/rhythm guitar\, John on \;the \;fiddle\, \;and \;Phinex on \;the upright bass. Since their start\, they'\;ve played venues such as the 31st Delmarva Folk Festival\, Sea witch Festival\, John Prine Festival\, Wicomico County Fair\, \;Delaware State Parks &\; The Mar-VA Theatre\, to name a few...
