As the head writer for Penn & Teller: Fool Us\, he was challenged by Penn Jillette himself to learn just one magic trick. "It's harder than you think\," Penn told him\, "but you might be better at it than you think." Instead of learning just one trick\, Matt learned seven each from a different magician and wove them together into his first-ever performance.
