DESCRIPTION:Join Delaware Center for the Inland Bays for a guided nature walk throughout the Preserve! Learn all about estuaries and why they are important for humans\, wildlife\, and our way of life. Participants will hear about some ways they can help to preserve\, protect\, and restore the Inland Bays!\n\nParticipants will spend the majority of the program walking along the Preserve's trails. It is recommended wearing closed-toe shoes for comfort and safety. Please bring water\, sunscreen\, and insect repellent\, as the Preserve can be buggy at times.\n\nThe walk will cover approximately 1.5 - 2 miles across various terrains\, including wooden boardwalks\, tree roots\, and sandy paths\, with frequent stops along the way.\n\nImportant Notes:\n\nParticipants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.\n\nThis program is weather permitting.\n\nAttendance is free\, but registration is encouraged.\n\nFor the privacy and comfort of participants\, staff\, and volunteers\, video or audio recording is not permitted during our programs. Guests are welcome to take photographs\, but we ask that you do so in a way that respects the privacy of others. Thank you for helping us keep our programs safe and welcoming for everyone.
