SUMMARY:Now Let Us Sing at Freeman Performing Arts Pavilion
DESCRIPTION:Cantabile Women's Chorus\, one of the Music School of Delaware's premier ensembles in residence at The Music School's Milford Branch\, is excited to present a program of music by women\, about women\, and for women\, as we commemorate Women's History Month.\n\n\n\nThis exciting program will feature music by Gwyneth Walker\, Susan Brumfield\, B.E.Boykin\, Kim Baryluk\, and Andrea Ramsey\, to name a few. Covering a wide range of musical styles\, our repertoire chronicles the struggles women have had in society through the centuries and right up to today\, as we continue the fight for equal rights and recognition. We will share the hardships of Jane Seymore\, third wife of Henry the 8th\, as well as Anne Bonny\, a female pirate of the 18th century\, and a piece based on the words of Sojourner Truth in her speech at the Ohio Women's Rights Convention of 1851.\n\n\n\nJoin Freeman Performing Arts for an afternoon of inspiring and thought-provoking music!
