(Re)discover your love of opera in a one-of-a-kind interactive experience featuring "Turandot\," with top-flight artists outside of the opera house in a more intimate and relaxed setting. You think you don't get\, or know opera? Come see for yourself\, and we might just change your mind!\n\n \n\nOperaDelaware is set to present Puccini's opulent\, unfinished masterpiece "Turandot\," at The Grand in Wilmington\, DE on May 17 & 19. The Princess Turandot will marry any suitor who seeks her hand\, as long as they can answer three riddles. But if they fail\, they'll have a date with the executioner's blade! OperaDelaware is the only professional opera company in the state and the 11th oldest in the country. Yet\, they still retain their founder's original philosophy of "Opera for Everyone." \n\n \n\nTickets are $20 plus fees. This event is held on the lawn at the Carl M. Freeman Foundation Office Building. Seating is Bring Your Own Chair and placement is on a first-come\, first-serve basis.
