SUMMARY:Seaside Concert Series - Broadway at the Beach
DESCRIPTION:Notes on the Beach is a piano (Glenn Pearson) and bass (Jeff Cooper) duo playing standards\, swing\, jazz\, show tunes\, and contemporary music.  The two have been friends and professional musicians for over 40 years. After meeting in high school in Washington D.C.\, they formed their first band and then attended Peabody Conservatory of Music together. After graduating\, Jeff focused on musical theater while Glenn concentrated on piano performance. Even with their different musical directions\, they always returned to their true passion-engaging audiences with their talent\, with\, and style to share their love of iconic American music.  Jeff has played at the Kennedy Center\, National and Ford's theaters\, Wolf Trap\, as well as performed on Broadway. As a bandleader and solo pianist\, Glenn is much in demand\, performing at the White House\, Vice President's residence\, Kennedy Center\, as well as countless embassies\, galleries\, and private homes.\n\nMatt Pearson is an acclaimed vocalist whose contributions as an actor\, singer\, and director have been enjoyed by audiences around the world. A Washington\, D.C. native\, Matt has an extensive repertoire in the D.C. and New York theater worlds\, on television\, and touring nationally with the political satire troupe\, The Capitol Steps. He currently sings with the African American heritage singers\, Jubilee Voices\, and performs regularly as a soloist and ensemble member across the U.S.\n\nPatricia Hurley is a local Washington\, D.C. actor and singer. She has performed at various local theaters including The Olney Theatre\, Studio Theatre\, Washington Stage Guild\, 1st Stage\, Constellation Theatre Company\, Imagination Stage and Signature Theatre. TV credits include "Three Women" (STARZ)\, Law & Order\, and Organized Crime (NBC). She is a graduate of Catholic University\, Benjamin T Rome School of Music and a proud member of Actor's equity.
