DESCRIPTION:Tickets are $19\, plus fees\n\nChildren 12 and under are free to attend and do not need a ticket in the General Admission section\n\n\nSODELO is Sussex County's own symphony orchestra\, with a mission to provide a welcoming environment for musicians in Southern Delaware to learn\, play and perform orchestral music for the community\, enhancing the richness and diversity of the cultural offerings of our region. \n\n \n\n\n\nThe orchestra has grown from a string ensemble of 32 players at its founding in 2022\, to a full orchestra of 75 musicians with winds\, brass and percussion. Members comprise a diverse community of students\, professionals\, music teachers\, retirees\, veterans and more. We are led by our Co-Founder and Music Director\, Dr. James Allen Anderson\, who is also the head of Orchestral Studies at the University of Delaware since 2011. He has led orchestras around the world and has served as President and long-time board member of the International Conductors Guild.\n\n \n\nSODELO will perform a program of popular and classical favorites handpicked for a perfect summer evening.
