With a bachelor&rsquo\;s degree in art education and a master&rsquo\;s degree in education\, she spent 30 years teaching art in New Jersey\, earning Teacher of the Year honors and a Warren County Humanities Award for her illustration work.
\n\nAfter retiring\, she continued her connection to the natural world while working with the Bridger-Teton National Forest in Wyoming.
