Celebrate the holidays in style by the seaside at Weekend Wonderland in Bethany. Every Saturday in December prior to Christmas, shoppers and visitors can take advantage of great tax free shopping, fun activities, and participate in The Elf on the Shelf scavenger hunt and coca crawl.

Elf On the Shelf Scavenger Hunt-
Search for the Elf throughout businesses in Bethany for a chance to win great donated prizes! All ages are welcome to participate - prizes will be drawn for children on Saturday, December 17th. Winners will be announced at 6 pm Saturday the 17th on the Bandstand. First pick up your bingo card at any participating business. (All completed bingo cards should be turned in at The Beach Life Gallery featuring Michael Orhelein to be entered into the prize drawings.)
 

Weekend Wonderland Activities:

• Decorating contest: Bethany Beach Businesses.
• Registration: Begins November 25^th ends December 9^th
• Tour - Starting December 10^th, entries will be posted on our website and on display for community to vote on. Visitors will begin their crawl at the downtown information kiosk for a cup of hot coffee or cocoa starting at 6 pm.  Trolleys will then take visitors on an evening tour to see the displays. Visitors may also plan their own drive by using our interactive Google Map or address list.  After the tour, the crawl will continue at participating Bethany businesses.
• Voting - The community will submit votes for winners in four (4) categories:  Best Coastal Theme, Most Elegant, Most Festive, and Best use of Animation and/or Audio Special Effects. Entries will be judged solely on exterior decorations.
• The Bethany-Fenwick Chamber and Coastal Point will sponsor prizes for the business entries.  Open to all businesses.
• Block Party on the Plaza:  Residential and Business winners will be announced on December 17, 2022, at 6 pm on the Bandstand followed by a Block Party on the Plaza for all those in attendance.
