“Baltimore Hundred Before Tourists”
Former Ocean View Mayor and history advocate, Gordon E. Wood, will describe the Baltimore Hundred before tourists, giving insight into southeastern Sussex County prior to automobiles and construction of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. Gordon Wood is the author of 3 books and has researched the family trees of early settlers, especially the Evans, Dazey/Daisey, Hall, and Green families.
The Lecture is FREE for current Society Members and $5 for others. Light refreshments will be served, and FREE parking is available in the Ocean View Town lots around the John T. West Town Park.
