Barefoot in Fenwick: Life on the Isle in the 19th and 20th Centuries
"Barefoot in Fenwick: Life on the Isle in the 19th and 20th Centuries" is the topic of educator and author, Dr. Kimberly Grimes' public lecture at the Ocean View Town Hall on Wednesday, January 22 at 7:00 pm. A Fenwick native, Dr. Grimes will talk about Fenwick's beginnings as a Camp Meeting, and its colorful past of land disputes between Maryland and Delaware. The lecture is free for Ocean View Historical Society members and $5 for others. The lecture is sponsored by the Coastal Towns Historic Village in Ocean View. Light refreshments will be served and free parking is available in the Ocean View town lots.
