17th Annual Jean and Joan Golf Tournament

In 1999, The Jean & Joan Cancer Fund was created in memory of Jean James and Joan Martin who courageously lost their lives to cancer.  Inspired by the generosity of friends and family, who consistently supported these brave women throughout treatment, The Fund was established to provide other cancer victims in the community with the same spiritual and financial support that Jean & Joan were so lucky to experience.

Since then, more than $415,000 has been contributed to Beebe Healthcare's Tunnell Cancer Center in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, providing assistance to victims of cancer who are in need of special patient services and equipment for their treatment.

The only sounce of funding is the annual Jean & Joan Cancer Fund Golf Tournament, held at Kings Creek Country Club, in Rehoboth Beach, each fall. The tournament has grown into a premiere event and local favorite, attracting well over 100 golfers, numerous sponsorships, and a wide array of auction items.
