2026 Bethany Beach Boardwalk Arts Festival: Volunteer Registration
CALLING ALL VOLUNTEERS!
The 2026 Bethany Beach Boardwalk Arts Festival in downtown Bethany Beach will be held on Saturday, September 12 from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm. This award-winning event includes fine artists featuring painting, woodwork, metal, clay, baskets, jewelry, porcelain, and more! Learn more at www.bethanybeachartsfestival.com.

Rain date: Sunday, September 13. All volunteer times will remain the same for the scheduled rain date. Please confirm your participation by Monday, August 17.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:
FESTIVAL PREPARATIONS (4 volunteers per shift needed)
Assist with event preparations at the Chamber. If organization and attention to detail is your thing--this role is perfect for you!
- Available Shifts:
- Wednesday, September 9: 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
- Thursday, September 10: 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
Mark all locations for the vendors and check-in for the artists.

- Dawn Patrol - Saturday, September 12:
- 5:30 am – 7:30 am
- 5:30 am - 9:30 am (Booth marking and artist check-in)
- Dawn Patrol - Saturday, September 12:
Assist artists and vendors for a designated area.
- Available Shifts:
- Check-in Volunteer - Saturday, September 12: 6:45 am - 9:30 am
- Umbrella installation - Saturday, September 12: 7:00 am - 9:00 am (2 needed - heavy lifting required)
Help in the parking area for all volunteers, artists, and vendors in the morning and/or at the end of the event to ensure a safe load-out and departure. Additional parking volunteers are needed at off-site locations.

- Saturday, September 12: 9:30 am – 1:30 pm (4 volunteers needed)
- Saturday, September 6: 3:30 pm – 5:30 pm (4 volunteers needed)
Sign up to be assigned to a designated area to assist/relieve artists for a short amount of time (restroom, food/water breaks!). Booth-sitters are not allowed to *SELL* but will watch over booth artwork to deter any theft and keep potential customers aware that artist will return soon.

Must submit photo of license to events@thequietresorts.com. Help shuttle volunteers and vendors from reserved parking areas to their assigned location!

Provide information to Arts Festival guests, assist with surveying and distribution of bags & programs. Information booths will be located on Garfield, Parkwood, and at the bandstand. Set Up/Tear Down tasks included in first and last shift.

Gathers, monitors, and assists in contacting the winners of the artists' donated pieces.

- Saturday, September 12 (20 volunteers needed for gathering): 8:00 am – 11:00 am
- Saturday, September 12 (8 volunteers needed for monitoring): 11:00 am – 2:00 pm
- Saturday, September 12 (8 volunteers needed for closing): 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Assist the Chamber & artists with the dismantling of the event
- Available Shift:
- Saturday, September 12: 3:30 pm – 5:30 pm
Registration Instructions:
- Select the green "Register Now" button at the top of the event page
- Select "Click here to continue your registration" under the "Not a member" section on the right-hand side of the screen
- Enter your name and contact information in appropriate field. Double-check your email address!
- Select the volunteer assignment you would like. Note* if you are interested in volunteering for more than one time slot, select Add Attendee and complete the info section for each additional volunteer shift you would like.
- You will receive a confirmation email that confirms your volunteer registration. You will receive communication of more details for your assignment closer to the date you will be helping. All questions can be directed to Alyssa at events@thequietresorts.com
