Event Description:
The 44th Annual Bethany Beach Boardwalk Arts Festival in downtown Bethany Beach will be held on September 10, 2022 from 10 am - 5 pm. The popular one-day show features jewelry, glass, pottery, watercolor and oil painting, photography, basketry, woodworking, and much more! More than 100 juried artists, both local and from around the country, will display their work along the bandstand, boardwalk, and streets of downtown Bethany Beach. For 44 years, festival-goers have savored the end of summer at the annual event, proving there is not a more beautiful backdrop for unique works of art. SUPPORTING ARTS IN THE COMMUNITY
Silent Auction
The annual event serves as a fundraiser for the arts programs at five local schools. The silent auction is comprised of pieces donated by participating artists, and is hosted on the Bethany Beach Bandstand from 10 am - 2 pm. The schools which benefit from the silent auction are Lord Baltimore Elementary School, Southern Delaware School of the Arts, John M. Clayton Elementary School, Phillip C. Showell Elementary School and Selbyville Middle School.

COVID-19 Requirements
The Bethany-Fenwick Area Chamber of Commerce will follow all COVID-19 protocols set forth by the State of Delaware and the Centers for Disease Control to provide a safe event for all patrons, artists, sponsors, volunteers, and staff. Current mandates, restrictions, and guidelines (if necessary) will be communicated prior to the event.

In the event that inclement weather is forecasted that poses a threat to public safety, the festival has a rain date scheduled of Sunday, September 11, 2022. All announcements regarding show date will be made on this web site.
