50th Anniversary Commemoration of the Vietnam War

The Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Vietnam Veterans of America Delaware organizations will be hosting this “50th Anniversary Commemoration of the Vietnam War” Ceremony.  

Join us for a short ceremony to solemnly honor the 122 Delawareans who died in this conflict and to joyfully recognize all Veterans and Family members in attendance to make sure they all feel “Welcomed Home” in our community. 
A family BBQ picnic follows. Come meet old and new friends. Sign a Book of Remembrance. Place mementos in a time capsule to be opened at this Post on the 100th Anniversary of the Vietnam War.  

We also invite Veterans of all eras, their spouses, children, family members and friends whose loved ones served this Country to join us in comradeship. As always, we welcome the Local Community to attend this opportunity to say “Thank You for our Freedoms”.
