Bayside Institute: Intro to Self Massage
Tennis balls and foam rollers are a great way to learn how to perform self-massage, release trigger points, and preparing your muscles for deeper stretching or relaxation. Join Tikiri Shapiro, director at Lighthouse Dance & Yoga to learn how to utilize this simple piece of equipment for amazing results! Active wear recommended as you will practice self-massage with tennis balls. If you have a foam roller available to you, feel free to bring it with you. Please be prepared to sit on floor mats. Best for those who are familiar with yoga and other forms of physical activity, not recommended for beginners.
