Meet Tracey Smith, author of "Jordyn's A to Z Affirmation Book" at Bethany Beach Books on Monday, June 29th at 6:30pm!
 

This beautifully illustrated children's book takes young readers on an empowering journey with Jordyn from A to Z of the alphabet, with each letter introducing a positive affirmation. This book helps children build confidence, self-love, and resilience.

Jordyn's A to Z Affirmation Book encourages kids to embrace their unique qualities, celebrate diversity, and to believe in their dreams. This book is designed to foster a growth mindset and emotional well-being for children, while learning the letters of the alphabet with a positive affirmation and can be used daily as a tool for parents, teachers, and caregivers to nurture a strong and positive foundation in young hearts and minds. This book is meant to inspire, empower and motivate all kids. The book also includes several coloring pages to keep kids engaged.

Tracey Smith is a children’s book author, who resides in Maryland. Tracey always wanted to publish her own children’s book, and with motivation through her granddaughter's eyes, she decided to give it a try, and wrote her first children’s book titled, A Day in Quarantine with Jordyn: Jordyns’ Journeys, during the COVID outbreak. 

She recently added a new book to the series titled Where's Grandma?: A Child's View in Loss, Grief and Bereavement.  This book takes you through Jordyn's Journey, as she deals with the loss of her great-grandma.  It's a beautifully illustrated children's book dealing with loss and grief, from a child's perspective.  

Tracey enjoys writing and plans on publishing more books on Jordyn’s journeys in the near future.  Jordyn has a busy, fun-filled life, so writing about her comings and goings is pretty easy to do.
