Building the Pasture Point Reef with the Delaware Center for the Inland Bays
Learn about the Center for the Inland Bay’s Pasture Point Oyster Reef at James Farm Ecological Preserve in Ocean View. Participants will learn from Science Technician, Morgan Krell, about the construction of the reef and the benefits a wild oyster reef has on water quality, wildlife, and way of life.
Closed-toe shoes are encouraged. Please remember to bring water, sunscreen and insect repellant.
Please note: Participants under the age of 18 must have a parent/guardian present at all times. Thank you for your cooperation.
We’ll be walking 1-1.5 miles throughout the Preserve on various terrain.
This program is weather permitting. Attendance is free, registration is encouraged.
