Business Registration - 2025 Weekend Wonderland in Bethany Beach
OVERVIEW
Weekend Wonderland is back in Bethany Beach on December 6th, 13th, and 20th! This Bethany Beach shop local event will encourage shoppers to visit businesses for holiday specials and in-store attractions like visits from Santa, and an Elf on the Shelf Scavenger Hunt. The town Trolley will also run during Weekend Wonderland, taking visitors on a tour of decorations from the Coastal Christmas Showdown.
If you are interested in participating in the 2025 Weekend Wonderland Initiative taking place December 6th, 13th, and 20th, please register your business, list if you would like to participate in the Elf on the Shelf Scavenger Hunt, and provide any holiday specials or known activities by Friday, November 21st.
Participating businesses, and the activities/specials you list when registering, have the opportunity to be featured in weekly Coastal Point and Ocean City Today newspaper advertisements throughout December at a discounted rate. Elf on the Shelf Scavenger Hunt during Weekend Wonderland
- The Elf on the Shelf Scavenger Hunt will ONLY be conducted on Saturdays of Weekend Wonderland - December 6th, 13th, and 20th.
- Each participating business should have an Elf displayed somewhere in its establishment on December 6th, 13th, and 20th.
- The Chamber will provide raffle tickets and flyers promoting Elf on the Shelf and participating businesses, but will not provide the Elf. If you need to order an Elf, contact Lori Smyth at Tidepool Toys & Games at ssmyth@tidepooltoys.com.
- The Chamber will distribute raffle tickets to each participating business. The more businesses a shopper visits to find the Elf, the more entries they have in the raffle.
- If shoppers are not interested in filling out a raffle ticket, they do not have to! That just means they won't be entered to win the raffle!
- Both adult and child raffle prize winners for the Elf on the Shelf Scavenger Hunt will be announced weekly, on Wednesday December 10th, 17th, and Monday the 22nd. A Chamber employee will collect raffle prizes from participating businesses the week of December 1st.
- Raffle winners will be announced at a different participating business each week, on December 10th, 17th, and 22nd.

The Town of Bethany Beach is hosting the 4th Annual Coastal Christmas Showdown, November 1st - December 6th. Bethany businesses and homeowners are invited to join in a friendly decorating competition by decking out their homes and storefronts! Registration opens November 1st and closes November 21st.
