There is a myriad of retirement plan options available to small businesses and sole proprietors. Approximately 46% of Delaware’s workforce does not have access to some type of retirement plan. Join Chamber Member, Kyle Ricker, of Merrill Lynch for an informational workshop on “Small Business Retirement”. This workshop will review:
- The type of programs available and the Pros & Cons of each
- Explore initial set-up and ongoing costs
- Employer & Employee Funding availability and obligations
- The impacts of employee headcount
- The power of matching funds
- Annual IRS Filing Requirements (and none in some instances)
- Accessibility to Funds (Employer & Employee) including vesting and penalties for early withdrawals
National Financial Literacy Month is recognized in the United States in an effort to highlight the importance of financial literacy and teach Americans how to establish and maintain healthy financial habits.
