Eric Scott Band
Washington, D.C. soul/pop artist and bassist Eric Scott has toured internationally as a solo artist and sideman. He has shared the stage with a diverse array of artists including James Brown, B.B. King, Mavis Staples, Aaron Neville, Booker T. Jones, REO Speedwagon, Foreigner, Southside Johnny, and many more. Recent collaborations include a stint as a vocalist for the Wounded Warriors MusiCorps Band with Roger Waters of Pink Floyd, Tom Morello, Billy Corgan, Jake Clemons, and G.E. Smith. He is a 15-time Wammie winner (Washington Area Music Association), and is nominated for 8 Wammies in 2020. His music has been featured on ABC-TV, Showtime, Cinemax, The WB, as well as several major motion pictures. His voice has been featured in ad campaigns for HGTV, NAT GEO, Ford, Chevy, Jeep, Chrysler, DC Lottery, and many more. He released his 5th album, the 6 song EP "The Charm City Sessions," in Summer 2019. He is set to release the full length CD "Peace Bomb" this summer. Both on his own Itzall Goode Music label. Calling his new music “modern throwback soul,” Scott’s music continues to evolve, yet remains funky, upbeat, soulful, and socially aware. He is unafraid of a pop hook, and his gospel and soul-drenched voice remains front and center. A seasoned live performer, his show is infectious and energetic, and features stellar DMV musicians Dan Leonard on guitar, Deren Blessman on drums, Benjie Porecki on keys, and Eddie Montalvo on percussion. Says Scott, “I want to get people movin’ and shakin’ … and surround them with positive energy. If they can escape from the world for a few hours with me and my band…then we’ve done our job.”
