Frankford Public Library-Wednesday Wonders with Raggatha Rain

Come to the Frankford Library for a special visit with Raggatha. Her Indigenous stories and songs will also include a take-home craft. Recommended for children ages 4-14 and everyone else.

Storyteller Raggatha Calentine brings her storytelling gifts with children to relate the summer reading theme "Unearth a Story" to her choice of books and words from the indigenous people. She helps us to learn to "listen deeply to the land—to the seeds of memory and wisdom that rest within Ahkee, our Earth Mother. To bring forth stories rooted in the soil, carried in the breath of the wind, and remembered in the footsteps of those who came before us."
