Uncover the secrets of the marsh as you take a guided nature walk towards the marsh at the James Farm Ecological Preserve. Learn why marshes are one of the most important habitats in our Inland Bays watershed. We’ll also talk about the Center’s various research and restoration projects that focus on salt marshes!
Closed-toe shoes are encouraged. Please remember to bring water, sunscreen and insect repellant, if desired since the Preserve can be buggy.
Please note: Participants under the age of 18 must have a parent/guardian present at all times. Thank you for your cooperation.
You’ll be walking approximately 1-2 miles over various terrain with frequent stops.
This program is weather permitting. Attendance is free, registration encouraged.
