To celebrate the Centennial of the 19th Amendment ratification, the Joshua M. Freeman Foundation will host a free screening of "Iron Jawed Angels," on Wednesday, March 18 at Del Tech's Faucett Lecture Hall in Georgetown. This historical drama film focuses on the American women's suffrage movement during the 1910s and follows women's suffrage leaders Alice Paul and Lucy Burns as they use peaceful and effective nonviolent strategies, tactics, and dialogues to revolutionize the American feminist movement to grant women the right to vote. Post-screening discussion led by Joanne Guilfoil, Ph.D.
