"Delaware's Latino-owned businesses offer an amazing array of products and services to residents of Sussex County," said Mary Dupont, Executive Director of La Plaza Delaware. "From local restaurants to skilled contractors who specialize in finely crafted porches, kitchens, bathrooms, handyman services, plumbing, electric, painting, custom tailoring, cleaning, and much more, the excellence of our community will be showcased at this great event."

The event is free to the public and includes delicious Central American cuisine prepared onsite, live music by the Ecuadorian group featuring Carlos Erazo on pan flute, speeches by dignitaries, and most importantly, Delaware's finest Latino-owned businesses. The event is organized by the Delaware Alliance of Latino Entrepreneurs (DALE), a new organization devoted to strengthening and supporting the Latino business community, and La Plaza Delaware, a non profit partnership working to boost Latino and minority-owned businesses.
