The CHEER La Red partnership is collaboration between CHEER and La Red that is designed to provide access to high quality adult and senior services throughout Sussex County, especially in geographic areas of high-unmet healthcare needs where La Red lacks a physical presence. Through this collaboration, CHEER will complement its current client offerings by providing the clinical space needed for the delivery of ambulatory health care services not presently available to its membership through CHEER service offerings. La Red will increase its capacity to meet the unmet health care needs of the growing senior population by placing its medical providers in close proximity within communities where the senior population congregates.
A good referral for LRHC would include any employee, customer, or neighbor of a Bethany-Fenwick Chamber member who needs access to high quality healthcare regardless of whether or not they have insurance or the ability to pay. The Delaware State Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business Alliance has recognized LRHC with the 2017 Non-Profit Superstar in Business Award. The Marvin S. Gilman Superstars in Business Award, named for one of Delaware’s leading small business entrepreneurs, honors businesses and nonprofit organizations for their outstanding achievements and model approaches to business and management.
