Paddle Second Chance
Paddle Second Chance (PSC) is a Stand-Up Paddle (SUP) board day of fun racing and fund raising for a worthy cause Operation Second Chance www.operationsecondchance.org. OSC is a 501(c)(3), non-profit group committed to serving our wounded combat veterans and their families? recovery and transition back to active duty or civilian life. They truly do amazing work and 91% of the funds raised go directly to wounded veterans and their families. This year?s event will kick off on Friday June 26th with paddler registration, packet pickup and a PSC Happy Hour at The Starboard in Dewey Beach www.thestarboard.com. Race day will be Saturday June 27th at Holts Landing State Park in Millville, Delaware featuring our main event a 5.0 mile course for fast and furious paddlers and a 2.5 mile run for fun and festive paddlers. Following the race events we will wrap up with an awards ceremony and community picnic for all those in attendance.
