What the Healthy Delaware Families Act Means for Your Business
The Healthy Delaware Families Act was introduced last year by Senator Sarah McBride. The original bill, SB 1, did not see action last year. It has now been rewritten and reintroduced on January 24, 2022 as Senate Substitute 1 for SB 1. The legislation proposes to require all Delaware employers with 10 or more employees to have family and medical leave policies and a State-run policy option that includes a split financial contribution between employer and employee.

A opportunity to learn more about this proposal is being offered by the Delaware State Chamber of Commerce, Delaware SHRM, and DelMarVa SHRM.
