Join the Emerging Enterprise Center on Wednesday, November 3, for their Swim with the Sharks Pitch Competition. Now in its 9th year, Delaware entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to compete for seed funding and additional prizes to help them launch and grow their business. Participating businesses will compete for a chance to win $10,000, provided by the New Castle County Office of Economic Development initiative NCC Innovates, plus prizes to help them launch and grow their business and/or a $1,500 People's Choice Award. This year's Shark Tank-style event will be televised statewide for the first time on DETV and simultaneously broadcast online.
