Please join the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition for the 2015 Shining Light Awards breakfast on Friday, June 12 at the Chase Center on the Wilmington Riverfront. Awards will be presented to individuals and companies in the following categories: Sussex County Chapter Women's Council of Realtors for “Spotlight on Philanthropy”; Jacquie Connell for “Spotlight on Survivorship; Helen F. Graham Cancer Center & Research Institute at Christiana Care Health System accepted by Nicholas J. Petrelli, MD, for “Spotlight on Health Care Delivery”; and Delmarva Broadcasting Company of Central Delaware for “Spotlight on Business”. The breakfast and awards program will run from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. Sponsorship opportunities begin at $500 and individual reservations are $40 per person. Proceeds from the Shining Light Awards will benefit DBCC’s programs that increase breast cancer awareness, promote the importance of early detection, provide access to mammograms, and provide support and resources to men and women in the local community who are newly diagnosed or facing a recurrence of breast cancer.
