Mr. Toad of Toad Hall is no ordinary amphibian. Wealthy, worldly and foolish beyond belief, Mr. Toad is a lover of motor cars, and one of the worst drivers in the English countryside. In spite of the efforts of his good friend, The Mole, Toad crashes car after car. With no vehicles left in his garage, the irrepressible Toad steals a stylish convertible and is promptly arrested and thrown into jail. The story of his daring escape, and reunion with The Mole is a hilarious, rollicking tale that must be seen to be believed.
Based on the “The Wind in the Willows,” the Rehoboth Summer Children’s Theatre production captures the energy, spirit and humor of Kenneth Grahame’s well-loved book. Audiences of all ages will be thrilled by the exploits of the amazing and outrageous Mr. Toad. Two actors play all the characters in this, fun-filled, 50-minute production.
This performance is free for all to attend. Please Bring Your Own Chair.
