Paddle races:  SUP, Outrigger Canoe, Kayak, Surfski and Prone.  Various courses to be set.  SUP race courses 3 and 6 miles.  World Paddle Association sanction request pending.  Fun race for kids. 

All skill levels are encouraged to participate. All classes based on ability NOT age.

The money raised will go to the benefit of the Wounded Warrior Program.  Post race events will include allowing the on-site wounded warriors to DEMO various equipment used by the racers and see if it can work into a therapy program for them or even future racing.  An opportunity for racers to meet warriors and assist them learn their sport. 

Live music, raffles, vendors and food and beverages for sale.  Rental equipment will be available for various classes. 

Additional races being considered are: relay, team and sprints.

Shirts and bling bags to the first 100 signed up. 

Awards given for top finishers in each event, best costume, best effort, directors choice. $45/ racer, signed waiver required for all participants prior to race number issue.

Free parking!  The VFW Post #7234 is on a point surrounded by water on three sides.  There is no bad view!  At least come out and support the event as a spectator.  All races will be easily observed from the site.  Restrooms available on site.
