The Town of South Bethany, Delaware, is in search of a full-time Lead Worker for Public Works. The successful candidate will lead/coordinate the daily operation of the Public Works department for the Town. Ability to operate/repair maintenance equipment and perform a variety of assignments such as maintain beach/canals, streets, municipal buildings, grounds/landscaping, stormwater infrastructure and Public Works budget. The Lead Worker is expected to be a strong leader and mentor, who is independent and trustworthy.

Minimum five years’ supervisory-level experience in municipal Public Works required. Computer experience, including knowledge of Windows, MS Word, and Excel required. 40-hour work week, salary DOQ, plus excellent Town benefit package.
