Climate change, with its associated more frequent storms, hotter temperatures and rising sea levels will take a toll on our Inland Bays community, and its increasing population. The Center for the Inland Bays has launched a two-year long Southern Delaware Coastal Resilience Plan, to learn from the community what it wants to do about these changes it’s facing.
As part of this effort, the Center will host Coast Forward, a one-day summit to listen to the community and share resources on how the Inland Bays will remain livable, sustainable and resilient.
An open house from 5-7 pm will share partner’s resources with community members. The open house is free, no registration required.
