Tech Transfer Symposium
In this challenging economy, companies like yours need every available tool in order to thrive. That is why we would like to personally invite you (or your representative) to an upcoming symposium on Delaware Technical Community College Owens campus: Accessing New Product Technology October 26, 2012 Delaware Technical Community College Carter Partnership Center – Room 540 8:30 – 11:30 am The purpose of this symposium is to familiarize you with technology transfer as a tool for growing your business. Technology transfer is the process of moving the results of scientific research from federal laboratories and universities to the marketplace. Companies who make technology transfer part of their business model can become more competitive, e.g., by increasing their efficiency and/or identifying new product lines to generate revenue. At the technology transfer symposium, you will: • Learn what technology transfer is and how it can help your business; • Hear from other businesses that have successfully used tech transfer to launch new products and increase profits; • Meet the people who are charged to help you with the tech transfer process. We hope that you will be able to attend this worthwhile event. There is a registration fee of $10 per person, which includes lunch. For our planning, we do ask that you pre-register by visiting the Delmarva Technology Transfer Initiative (DT2i) website, www.DT2i.com. For questions, please call Kristen Bacon at (302)856-5618. We hope to see you at the technology transfer symposium on October 26!
